Court Services Division
The mission of the Court Services Division is to foster innovation and effectiveness in the courts through the provision of information, technical assistance and project support services so that the Judicial Branch vision is achieved. Court Services staff serves as program or project lead, and provide technical assistance to courts statewide on a wide variety of topics. Examples include the Court Interpreter Program, expedited child support, the Children’s Justice Initiative, the Guardian ad Litem program, chemical health programming, alternate dispute resolution, psychological services, jury management, and the race data collection project. The Court Services Division also collects and publishes statistical information on court caseloads and case flow, provides support for the Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS) through its business practices unit, staffs court committees, conducts legal research as requested by judges and court staff, and conducts training for court personnel.
