eFiling May be Disrupted Friday, May 15

Notice of Standard Configuration Implementation- Information for Filers:
The Minnesota Judicial Branch will soon be implementing an important upgrade to the eFile and eServe (eFS) system. This upgrade will establish a standard, statewide eFS system configuration, providing filers a consistent user experience regardless of which district court a case is filed in. Establishing a standard system configuration will also improve the support services offered to filers.
The eFS system will be not be available on May 15, 2015, starting at 5:00 p.m., and may remain unavailable until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015, for this system upgrade. During this time, users will be unable to electronically file or serve documents. To assist in the timely implementation of the system upgrade, users are asked to log off the eFS system by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15.

If system unavailability prevents you from electronic filing where mandatory, an exception may be requested to the mandatory eFiling requirement under Minnesota General Rule of Practice 14.01(d); 14.01(f)(1).

REMINDER: Effective July 1, attorneys and government agencies are required to use eFS in certain counties
The Minnesota Supreme Court recently issued orders promulgating amendments to the Minnesota Rules of Court. Under these amended rules, effective July 1, 2015, attorneys, government agencies, and guardians ad litem are required to use the eFS System to file documents in all cases filed in the eCourtMN pilot counties (Cass, Clay, Cook, Dakota, Faribault, Hennepin, Kandiyohi, Lake, Morrison, Ramsey, and Washington Counties).
