Free Valentine’s Day Wedding Ceremonies by Hennepin Judges

WHAT: Twelve Fourth Judicial District judges will unite 33 couples in matrimony at no charge on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2017.

Honorable William Koch commented, “This is a fun event for all of us here at the courthouse.  Our available volunteer spots always fill up within minutes, and the entire event fills the Government Center atrium with a wonderful energy.”
 
WHEN: Tuesday, February 14, 2017
11:45 a.m. – Pre-ceremony check-in
12:00 p.m. – Program starts
Welcome – Honorable William Koch, Fourth Judicial District
Soloist – Honorable Ivy Bernhardson, Fourth Judicial District
Background music by a string quartet, Musica Ipsa Loquitor
 
Weddings will occur approximately every 15 minutes.

WHO: Fourth Judicial District Court Judges Shereen Askalani, Gina Brandt, Michael Browne, Hilary Caligiuri, Lois Conroy, Amy Dawson, Martha Holton Dimick, Lisa Janzen, Fred Karasov, Kathryn Quaintance, Chris Sande and Paul Scoggin.
 
The event provides positive outreach to the citizens of Hennepin County and spotlights the District Court, Taxpayer Services, and the Government Center.
