Thomas R. Lehmann Appointed to Fill Tenth Judicial District Vacancy

Today, Governor Mark Dayton announced the appointment of Thomas R. Lehmann as a District Court Judge in Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District. Mr. Lehmann will be replacing the Honorable Lawrence R. Johnson, and will be chambered at Anoka in Anoka County.
 
“I am pleased to appoint Mr. Thomas Lehmann to serve as District Court Judge,” said Governor Dayton. “Mr. Lehmann will bring valuable knowledge of both civil and criminal law to the Tenth Judicial District. I thank him for his willingness to serve the people of Minnesota.”
 
Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District consists of Anoka, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Pine, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright Counties.

About Thomas R. Lehmann:
Mr. Lehmann is a shareholder at Eckberg Lammers, P.C., where he represents businesses, municipalities, and individuals in both civil and criminal matters. Previously, he was the owner and partner at Lehmann & Lutter, P.A., an attorney at LeVander, Gillen & Miller and O’Neill, Burke, O’Neill, Leonard & O’Brien, and was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Kalitowski and the Honorable J.B. Gunderson. He earned his B.A. Cum Laude from Concordia College and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. 
 
Mr. Lehmann serves as the Chair of the Stillwater Area School Board and volunteers as coach of the St. Croix Valley Athletic Association.
