Prairie Island Tribal Court and Goodhue County District Court to hold Community Listening Session

The First Judicial District Equal Justice Committee and Prairie Island Indian Community will join together to host a community listening session that will be hosted by the Prairie Island Tribal Court and Goodhue County District Court leaders. The community listening session will take place at the Prairie Island Community Center on Thursday June 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It is open to the public, and requires no RSVP. Attendees will be encouraged to center their comments around access and fairness in the courts. This is an opportunity for people to voice concerns, share suggestions, and help the courts understand the court experience from the perspective of those who are entering it.
