Fourth Judicial District Announces One-Stop for Hennepin Court Records at Government Center

Court records will be centrally located in the Hennepin County Government Center in the B Vault on B level starting July 8, 2013.  The public may look up all civil, conciliation, criminal, housing and probate/mental health case information occurring in Hennepin County.

The B Vault is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (closed Wednesday afternoons, 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM).

“The Fourth Judicial District is pleased to offer a streamlined process to court users,” Mark Thompson, judicial district administrator, commented. “The centralized record center demonstrates the court’s commitment to improving customer court access, transparency and efficiency through the use of technology.”

Court Records Center

The centralized court record center features:

  • 13 computer terminal stations
  • Access to electronic access to case records
  • Cash or check payment for copies (no credit cards)

The Family Justice Center, Juvenile Justice Center and suburban locations will continue to maintain records at their respective locations.  Copies previously obtained at the violations counter on the skyway level, 4th (probate/mental health) and 11th (criminal) floors are relocated to the centralized records center.
