Additional Information:

Judge Perkins was elected by his peers as a director and officer of the Minnesota District Judges Association (MDJA), serving as President from 2002-03.  He continues to serve on the MDJA board and its committees.  He was the lead judge in Le Sueur County for the Minnesota Supreme Court’s Children’s Justice Initiative and a member of the First District’s Children’s Justice Initiative (CJI) Committee.  He also served as a judicial member of the First District Domestic Violence Task Force from 1994-99.
