10th Judicial District Community Dialogue and Listening Session

The 10th Judicial District Equal Justice Committee wants to hear from you!

On Wednesday, February 21, judges and other justice system leaders from Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District will hold a community listening session at the Fridley Community Center. The event, which will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., will give area residents an opportunity to share ideas, concerns, and other feedback related to Minnesota’s court system.

A similar community listening session was held at the Fridley Community Center in January 2017. During the 2017 session, judges and other officials met with residents in a small group format, and discussed a wide variety of issues related to access to the courts, fairness in the justice system, and public trust and understanding of the judiciary. A summary of the issues discussed at the 2017 event can be found here. At the upcoming February 21 event, justice system officials will also provide an update on how the local court system has used the feedback generated at the 2017 session to improve the court’s service to the public.

This community listening session is free and open to the public, and no preregistration is needed to attend.
