ONLINE MAGISTRATE TIME REPORTING

Expedited Child Support Process
Federal law requires each State to have an expedited child support process (Ex Pro Child Support) for hearing certain types of child support cases. The expedited process has special rules and requirements that provide for a more user-friendly court experience. Only IV-D cases can be heard in the expedited process. A IV-D case is a case where either party receives or formerly received public assistance (cash grant, medical assistance, and/or child care subsidy). A IV-D case also includes any case in which a party has applied for child support enforcement services in a county child support office.
