In most family court cases that address the custody of children and/or setting up a plan for parenting time (also referred to as visitation), the court must require the parties to complete an educational program. You may attend any formal program in any county that is recognized as meeting the requirements of a court-ordered class. You should inquire with that program whether they qualify. They must provide documented verification of your attendance to be filed with the court.
There is a program in Wright County through the J.O.Y. Center. Their contact information is as follows:
This program is also available to anyone who wants to learn more about the impact of these issues on children even if you do not have a pending court action.
