Withdraw a Plea of Guilty to a Citation
If you entered a plea of guilty to a citation by paying a ticket or failing to pay a ticket and you now want to withdraw that plea, you must file a "Motion to Withdraw a Plea of Guilty" with the court. You may print the required forms and instructions using the links below. You may file the motion and receive a court hearing date at any Court Division location.
Citations Issued in Minneapolis or St. Anthony
For citations issued in Minneapolis and St. Anthony, you must fill out and file the Motion paperwork below, using the instructions that are included. Later, you must appear in court at the hearing date and time to present your case to the court.

Citations Issued in Suburban Cities
For citations issued in suburban cities of Hennepin County, you must fill out and file the Motion paperwork below, using the instructions that are included. Later, you must appear in court at the hearing date and time to present your case to the court. Your hearing will be held at the Court Division where the city where your citation was issued hears their cases. Court Division locations are listed on the right side of this webpage.
