First Day: Report at 8:15 a.m. to receive orientation and instructions. Usually, if you are not on an actual case, you will be dismissed about 4:30 p.m.
Second and Subsequent Days: Report to the jury lounge at 9:00 a.m. Unless given some other reporting time. If you are serving on a jury case, you will go directly to the courtroom or abide by whatever instructions the judge has given you as to the time and place for reporting. Again, if you are not on an actual case, you will be dismissed about 4:30 p.m.
Overnight Stay: You are normally not detained overnight while arriving at a civil verdict.
Length of Service: Jury service is for a two-week period. If a case is expected to continue longer, you will be so advised by the presiding judge.
Lunches: You may bring your lunch if desired. Information as to nearby restaurants and parking lots will be given you on your first day of service.
Accommodation: If any accommodation is needed during jury service contact the Jury Office before your reporting date.
Wearing Apparel: You are expected to be neat in appearance at all times. Casual dress is acceptable.

Your Pay: Petit and Grand Jurors are compensated for Jury service at a rate determine by the Supreme Court for the days physically present, plus round-trip mileage from juror's residence to the government center. This fee is meant to cover incidental expenses, such as lunch and parking while on jury duty. The amount will be computed and then mailed to your home address about two weeks after completion of your jury service.
Bring the top portion of the summons with you everyday. We will be taking attendance with it everyday.
