General Information
The Freeborn County Courthouse is located in downtown Albert Lea, at 411 South Broadway.    Public parking is available in the lot on the east side of the courthouse, on the street, and in the municipal parking lot northeast of the courthouse.

The Court Administrator's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, however counter service and phone service are available only between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  The county observes the following holidays:  New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Veteran's Day; Thanksgiving Day and the day after; Christmas Eve Day; and Christmas Day.
