General Information
The Waseca County Courthouse is located in downtown Waseca at 307 North State Street. Public parking is available in two lots on the north side of the courthouse and one lot located on the south side, as well as on the street.

The Court Administrator's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. The county observes the following holidays: New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Veteran's Day; Thanksgiving Day and the day after; and Christmas Day. Effective March 1, 2008, counter service and phone service will be curtailed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. each Thursday.

If you wish to enter a plea of guilty to the charge against you, please sign the back of your ticket and send it, along with your check or money order made payable and addressed to:

FINE PAYMENT IS DUE ON OR BEFORE THE COURT DATE INDICATED ON THE TICKET.
If you have any questions, call the Court Administrator's Office at 507-835-0540 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
You must appear in court if:
1. You intend to plead not guilty.
2. You intend to plead guilty but wish the Judge to hear an explanation about the offense.
3. You were involved in an accident.
4. You are unable to pay the full fine amount by the court date.
FAILURE TO PAY THE FINE OR APPEAR IN COURT AS INDICATED WILL RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF YOUR LICENSE OR A WARRANT FOR YOUR ARREST. ADDITIONAL CHARGES MAY BE ASSESSED.
