General Information
The Winona County Courthouse is located in downtown Winona at the intersection of West 3rd St. and Washington Street. It houses the Courts, Department of Corrections-Courthouse Unit (which includes probation supervision of adult misdemeanants and juveniles), and the County Attorney Office. Parking is free and available in the Law Enforcement Center (adjacent to the courthouse) and on the street.

The Court Administrator's Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, Monday - Friday. The county observes the following holidays: New Year's Day; President's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Veteran's Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day and the day after; and Christmas Day. Effective March 1, 2008, counter service and phone service will be curtailed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. each Wednesday.

2. You are involved in an accident.
Failure to pay, appear, or contact the court on or by the court date given on your ticket may result in driver's license suspension (any state), a warrant being issued and increased fines.
