Traffic & Parking Ticket Payment
NOTICE:
November 19, 2009 - The Fourth Judicial District is still experiencing issues with its Traffic/Criminal phone line and payments that are trying to be made over the phone. Payments can also be made on our website by clicking on the online parking and traffic link. We apologize for the inconvenience. Proper service should be restored soon.
IMPORTANT:
BY PAYING YOUR CITATION, YOU ARE ENTERING A PLEA OF "GUILTY" TO THE OFFENSE.
PAYING CERTAIN FINES MAY SUSPEND OR REVOKE YOUR DRIVING PRIVILEGES. IF IN DOUBT,
CONSULT THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AT 651-296-6911.
If you have received a citation in Hennepin County for a parking, moving, or criminal violation, you can now pay your ticket online.
You can pay your citation directly from your checking or savings account, or credit card using Master Card or Visa.
Please note: In order to use this service your citation must be entered in the Violations Bureau Electronic System. This process can take up to 14 days from the date you receive your citation. If you experience difficulties making your payment online, and your citation is in the system, please call (612) 348-2040 to pay your citation using the interactive voice response system (IVR).

Court Required Charges: If the offense or charge listed in the citation is considered "court required," the Court will issue a "Summons to Appear" giving you a date to appear in court. The Summons to Appear will be mailed to you within 10 business days after the citation is received by the court. It will be mailed to the address listed on the citation. Failure to appear may result in a Bench Warrant being issued for your arrest.
