This district court has original jurisdiction in all civil, family, probate, juvenile, criminal, and traffic cases filed in Rice County.

Confidential cases and cases that are not remotely accessible under Minn. R. Pub. Access 8, subd. 2 are not posted in this calendar. If your case does not appear on the calendar, do not assume that your court appearance has been cancelled or rescheduled.

Court Hearing Information
- In-Person Hearings: Hearings are typically held in the courtroom.
- Remote Hearings: If the hearing you are attending is remote, it will take place via Zoom. Please note that the courtroom may be locked.
What to do if the Hearing is Remote
- Call (507) 497-7134 or go to the Court Administration Office on the 1st floor for assistance.
- Court Administration staff will provide you with the necessary Zoom information to join the hearing.
- Zoom rooms are available at the Courthouse for public use.
- Staff will also assist you with connecting to the Zoom hearing.
