Supreme Court Announces Vacancies on Civil Appellate Procedure Rules Advisory Committee

The Minnesota Supreme Court seeks to fill multiple vacancies on the Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Appellate Procedure.  Members are appointed by the Supreme Court for a term of three years, with the possibility of one extension.

The Advisory Committee is responsible for reviewing the rules of civil appellate procedure and proposing modifications to those rules.  Once appointed, the advisory committee’s primary work will focus on proposed or necessary modifications to the appellate rules to accommodate electronic filing and service in the appellate courts.
