Scott County Juror Reporting Information

Jurors must keep in contact with us throughout their two-week term. You will need to check this website or call the Jury message line (952) 496-8201 whenever you are directed to do so.

This is the Scott County Jury message for Monday, February 6, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. for all jurors whose term began Monday, February 6.  This is a long message; please read carefully.

We have a case going to trial on Tuesday, February 7.

Jurors in Groups 1-9 are scheduled to report at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, and your directions are as follows:
Please report to the Scott County Government Center, located at 200 4th Avenue W in Shakopee at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7.

You may use the public entrance on the 4th Ave. side of the complex (front) or the Atwood Street entrance (west side).
Please follow the signs to the Justice Center.

You will go through security screening; please leave metal objects in your vehicle or at home.

Once you have gone through security, please report to the third floor and follow the signs to the jury check-in.  There may be downtime, so feel free to bring something quiet to do. A beverage in a closed container is allowed while you wait.  Also, temperatures throughout the courthouse vary; dressing in layers is recommended.

If you have exhibited any COVID-19 symptoms in the past 2 days, or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days, do NOT report.  Additionally, if you have had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 5 days, do NOT report.  If the contact was in the past 6 - 10 days, you are required to wear a mask.  If you cannot report due to these Covid-19 situations, please call 952-496-8200 and follow the prompts to the jury division. If your call is not personally answered, please leave a message and we will return your call.

Again, Jurors in Groups 1-9 are scheduled to report at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7.
